Yesterday, we went on a walk with Conversation Club Leeds from Menston to White Wells in Ilkley. It was about a two-hour hike through beautiful hills and nature. I personally enjoyed feeling the soul of the earth under my feet, surrounded by wildflowers and plants. At the end of the walk, we visited a historic bathhouse and café at White Wells, near where Charles Darwin had stayed many years ago. I’m really grateful to CCL for providing us with this opportunity. It was a wonderful chance to enjoy good company and walking — great for both our physical and mental health. Our walking trip from Menston to White Wells on Ilkley Moor was really interesting. The scenery was beautiful and full of nature. Being on time and staying disciplined helped us enjoy the journey more. I loved the greenery, even though I was sweating a lot. We visited a historic bathhouse that was once used for healing, and its structure was amazing. During the walk, we had some hot chocolate together—it was very hot and tasty, and it gave me the energy to continue the rest of the journey.
