A group of us spent the afternoon at Beeston Festival, with a picnic and games, including badminton and even cricket.

Ceilidh raises £1,000

Thank you to everyone who supported the ceilidh and helped us raise £1,000. We held the ceilidh at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chapel Allerton. Bandiera Rossa provided the live music. If anyone has any ideas for future fundraising events, please get in touch.

Fundraising concert raises £800

Thank you to our 3 local choirs for a wonderful concert, and to everyone who came and enjoyed their singing. We managed to raise £800 for the Conversation Club. If anyone has any ideas for future fundraising events, please get in touch.

Outing to Fell Edge

Fell Edge Barn is a large bright and beautiful space near Ilkley Moor for community events: dance, theatre, creative workshops, spiritual gatherings, outdoor pursuits, special needs groups and schools. We had a great time, thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Visit to Leeds City Museum

A small group of us visited a special exhibition about migration at the Leeds City Museum. This included some migration-related language work.

Outing to Malham

We had a lovely outing up to Malham with the help of People and the DALES, a project run by the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
