A group of guests went to Temple Newsam Park for a walk, picnic and tour of the house. Our guest HQ writes:
‘First of all, I’d really like to thank Margaret and everyone who managed this trip for us; I truly appreciate it. Temple Newsam is an ancient house in Leeds, approximately 500 years old. Most visitors come to admire the beautifully preserved historical artifacts inside or to enjoy picnics on the grounds. Beyond the main house, there are several other attractions: wooded hills perfect for walks, a lovely lake, beautiful flower gardens, a stunning garden designed with various geometric shapes located behind the house, an area in front of the house sometimes used for dancing and music and the old stables used as a café. I highly recommend a visit to Temple Newsam. It’s a fantastic experience to see such a historic place and a joy to spend time there. I particularly enjoyed the lake, the flower gardens, and Temple Newsam House itself.’
